Hello I have one question… I have 3 girls’, 13,11, and 9. I decided after the baby was born I wanted to have my tubes tied. Well I met the love of my life and he has now adopted my girls’ and this is his first marriage and only kids’ now. I want to give him a child of his own. We both are military and just want to get this done asap. He is deployed right now and will be home at Christmas and I would love to be able to tell him that I have found some wonderful news about this procedure. We have been talking about this for awhile, but of course since he has been gone then not much talk has been going on and if there is it’s just hello and how are u and I love you and will be glad when you get to come home. My girls’ just love him to death and consider him there dad already. I love him so very much and tell him all the time, but I know that this is the best way to actually show him just how much. He has told me it’s up to me and there is no pressure from him either way. It’s my decision. He supports me all the way. He loves my 3 girls’ just if they were his own blood.

The testimonial page is probably my favorite page on our website – I love to read about all of the new tubal reversal babies and see their pictures! It is very rewarding (for Dr. Berger in particular, I’m sure) to see each new baby and know that he/she is the completion of a tubal reversal journey.

Publishing our tubal reversal statistics allows us as healthcare providers to provide anticipatory guidance to our patients. We are able to give patients information on success rates based on age, type of tubal ligation, and remaining tubal lengths. This is helpful for women to look at while making the decision to have this surgery. It also allows women to compare our statistics to those of IVF. Tubal reversal surgery is less expensive and has higher pregnancy and birth rates than the alternative IVF.

I for one love reading the pregnancy testimonials. Patients have such wonderful stories about their journey from tubal ligation to tubal reversal with Dr. Berger to giving birth to their “miracle” baby. The pregnancy rates for our patients are very high, which makes this procedure such a wonderful option for women who have been previously sterilized.

Dr. Berger is not just the only doctor with a practice limited to reversal surgery. To our knowledge, he is the only physician with such extensive and accurate data reflecting the outcomes of his tubal reversal procedures. This is significant since we believe patients should have all the necessary information to make an informed decision regarding whether or not tubal reversal surgery is the right choice for them.

This once again shows the concern and care that we have as caregivers for our patients. I think that it is wonderful that the statistics that Dr. Berger has are from actual data. This type of information gives women an accurate account of actual pregnancies following tubal reversal surgery therefore giving them hope for themselves. The follow up that we do is an important step as it allows us continued communication with the patients. Our care does not end when a patient leaves the facility.
