Hello all. I’ve been thinking about getting a tubal reversal for about 3 years. I’m really going to do this. I feel good about it. I am going with the pre-payment plan. Can someone tell me where to begin? Thanks for the help.

Hello to all: Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Andrea Saunders and I am 39 years old. I remarried approximately 2 years ago to a wonderful man! Although I have children and my husband has a son, we have not been blessed with a child together, because of a decision I made in 1993. I'm not sure how I came across tubal reversal, but I remember doing research and coming across Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center Web site. I was impressed by the amount of data he shared which allowed for an informed decision. I had pretty much made up my mind to use Dr. Berger! I joined a "support" group, to speak with other ladies that had either had the procedure done or were thinking about it. It turned out to be a site that promoted tubal reversals in Mexico and frowned upon anyone that mentioned another Doctor. So of course I left the group. I decided to go with Dr. Berger and on July 21st I had my tubes reversed! One of the best decisions I have made! The environment was welcoming and friendly! The staff made you feel important! You could tell the office was organized and Dr. Berger was very open about the procedure and what to expect. The day of the reversal, I was the 1st patient and the staff did everything possible to make me feel comfortable! I say all the above to say Thank you Dr. Berger and staff. My husband and I are grateful and looking forward to hopefully having a child. It is now day 4 and I feel great! I will keep you posted. Thank you, Andrea Saunders

The nurses and staff here at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center are always available to answer questions. The message board is a great way to communicate with our patients and help them on their journey to conceive a child. Dr. Berger and all the staff are on the message board everyday to help answer questions. I don’t think you will find many medical practices that offer this kind of support. We are happy to help!

I think most women are pleasantly surprised at the support they find on the message board. So many women think that they are alone in their quest to have a tubal reversal and have no idea that this kind of support exists. The message board is an excellent source of communication and information for both past and future tubal reversal patients.

I think that the message board is a wonderful avenue of information and support for women who are thinking of havng the tubal reversal surgery, have had the surgery, and for those who are trying to conceive after surgery. The message board allows women to connect with each other no matter where they live. It also gives us a chance as staff members to communicate infomration and to connect with patients before they come for surgery.

During my initial contact with potential patients, nearly every woman asks if she is the only person to change her mind about the tubal ligation. Although I try to assure everyone that they are in good company, nothing is better than the feedback from other women who are in similar situations. The message board is a great place for support and information.
