Having both the Tubal Reversal Center and the Surgery Center in one building is ideal for our patients and staff. The staff of both facilities work closely together to make sure that our patients receive the best care possible. From an anesthesia standpoint, it is the perfect outpatient setting. We preop our patients over the phone and then we actually get to meet them the day before their surgery. This is not usually the case in out patient surgery. And, as Dr Berger mentioned, the patient to nurse ratio is higher than in other health care facilities and is one of the many reasons our patients do so well.

I have been told by many patients that the fact that Dr. Berger performs four surgeries a day is very comforting. It makes them feel secure because of his extensive experience doing tubal reversals (more than any other doctor in the world). The photo that is taken at check-in for the consultation, adds a personal touch. It’s wonderful to put a face with a name!

Women who have chosen Dr. Berger as their tubal reversal doctor tell us they appreciate that they are only around other couples who are going through the same surgery — not patients who are sick or having other types of procedures. The convenience of having both facilities located within the same building - with staff who are trained in and dedicated to caring for reversal patients - is just another way that we try to make the reversal process simple, convenient, safe, and professional for our patients.

The fact that both Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center and Chapel Hill Surgical Center are dedicated to caring for patients who are having tubal reversal surgery is one thing that sets the facility apart from others. This allows the staff to focus on each couple and to treat each patient as an individual. High standards are put in place and each employee who is a part of this organization is expected to practice under these standards. This allows us to provide the best patient care for each individual. The staff to patient ratio allows us one on one time with each patient. Having everything done in one exclusive facility allows our patients to have the best experience during their surgery. We hope that tubal reversal surgery with Dr. Berger will bring about a new beginning for everyone who enters through our doors.
