Tubes Reversed, Tubes Untied: Lisa Age 41

A-couple-who-choose-to-have-tubes-reversedTubes reversed and tubes untied. This was the plan of Lisa and Marshall in January of 2009 that brought them to Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center.

I had the pleasure of meeting the couple for a pre-operative visit to discuss tubal ligation reversal surgery. Initially, Lisa and Marshall chose to attempt pregnancy through in-vitro fertilization (IVF) andĀ  Lisa underwent a single cycle of IVF, which was not successful.

After their IVF cycle, Lisa and her husband, Marshall, made the decision to have her tubes untied and reversed so they could attempt to conceive naturally.

She and her husband Jason traveled to Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center from Hardy, Virginia (VA) for her surgery. Pat is the Founder and President of Roanoke Valley Horse Rescue. Her horse rescue center cares for abused horses, provides them a safe environment, and coordinates adoptions for these horses. Waiting for My TR

Tubal reversal family journey.Waiting for the tubal reversal surgery brought on much anxiety. It was a rather long wait for me and my husband and son, Harry and Ian, too. But, I can not begin to explain the amount of help that Dr. Berger and all his staff were for me, in helping me to relax and get through the wait. My Tubal Ligation – Then The Loss of My Son

Jayden R. passed away at 2 months of age after my tubal ligation.My journey to Dr. Berger began on May 29, 2007, the day my youngest son, Jayden, was born. I knew in my heart I did not want my tubes tied, but because of 2 very life threatening pregnancies, we (me, my other half and doctor) decided it would be best to have a TL. But then life became all too real to me on July 30, 2007 when I lost my youngest son, only 2 months and 1 day after he was born. This picture of Jayden shows what a happy baby he was…
