Is the procedure too costly and/or complex to be used in countries such as Africa, Haiti, Guatemala, and on and on and on !!!???

Has it been tried at all by groups such as UNFPA, etc.

It is possible to get pregnant after a tubal reversal; however, becoming pregnant naturally becomes harder with older age. Your best chance at pregnancy would be IVF with donor eggs. If you are having regular periods and have a tubal reversal then pregnancy is always possible. You should look at our data on the chances of getting pregnant after a tubal ligation reversal.

I had a pomeroy tubal ligation 6 years ago 12mm cut on one tube and 12mm on the other when my tubes were tied. Is it possible to repair tubes and can I get pregnant after a reversal. I live in England and how much is the operation? How long do you have to stay in the hospital before going home. I have sent you a letter as I want to go ahead with the operation. MAGGIE - Most likely you had a Pomeroy tubal ligation. This is always or almost always the sterilization technique used at the time of a c-section. From a surgical point of view, yes - your tubes can be reversed. At age 44, however, the chances of getting pregnant and http://www.tubal-reversal.net/tubal-reversal-over-36-pg2.htm are declining with age. With 9 kids already, some might question the advisablility of having a tubal ligation reversal.
