Hello, I am also given hope after reading this story. I had an ablation in 2007 after heavy bleeding. I resumed my periods the year I met my wonderful husband and after a vaginal u/s I found my uterine lining to be 5.3 mm. I had my TR 2 months ago and we are TTC. I have a friend who got pregnant after her EA but lost her baby at 26 weeks due to PROM. Her dr stated that it was nothing to do with the ablation and after a year she is 21 weeks pregnant again. I have read so much about this and I know there are risks involved but I also know I am willing to take them in order to hold my baby someday. I have found many stories on the internet of people who have had successful pregnancies post ablation. There seems to be a frequency of preterm bleeding, acreta and possible hysterectomy at birth. All any of us in this situation can do is pray, search our hearts and do what we feel is right for us. Good luck to everyone! Shaunda and Darren, I hope you get your BFP soon!

At the time I had my endometrial ablation I was a 37 year old single mother of four with full-time employment as my only source of income. My children's ages were 8, 6, 5, and 3 years old. My blood count was an 8 and dropping. I was convinced that I was done having children! Since then, I have met a wonderful man who has 2 older children that live out of state and he wishes to have another child. It would be wonderful to have another. Even though it was medically necessary, I regret having it done. I am hoping for a medical miracle! Is there anyone out there who has had a child after this surgery?

Hello Shaunda,

I am a twenty-eight year old mother of three. I looked on the website and saw your story and I was touched. I wish you and your husband luck. I had an my tubes tied in 2003 after my youngest son and then in 2007 I had to have an endometrial ablation due to anemia. I really would love to have one more baby, because I have this wonderful man in my life. He loves me the way I am and including my baggage, but I would do anything to have him a child of his on. I've sent in my records to Dr.Berger and I am just waiting on a response. Well I hope all is well for you. Keep me in your prayers and I will do the same for you.
