CARMEN!!!!! I have thought about you so many times! You are one of the ONLY things I remember about after my surgery! Every time I saw y'all I wanted to say hi, but was worried I would infringe on your privacy. PLEASE ( if you want to!) drop me a line sometime! My email is gapchncrm at aol dot com. I would love to hear how your surgery went! Many thoughts to you!

I wish you and your husband all the luck in the world. I hope you get your Dr. Monteith miracle. I remember you, I was the lady that asked you if you were ok. I was so scared and nervous seeing you look all groggy, I was next to go in for the surgery. I'm doing pretty good now, I'm still bloated nd swollen, and I can't wait 2 have my own Dr. Monteith miracle..... :) take care

This is such a great story Tanya. Having Kevin's love and support, as well as that from the well wishers at work must have made you feel very loved.

Thank you for sharing your story! I'm also from Georgia and I have my tubal scheduled for April 6th, also with Dr. Monteith. I can relate to the mix of emotions you're dealing with. I'm already there with that! I wish you all best!

The thing I recall quite vividly was the care and concern that the staff gives to each patient. My first contact was Rhonda and she was wonderful. Pam was my savior in trying to find a vein to draw blood from without any pain I might add.... lol Going into the surgery I was a bit apprehensive because I've always have tremendouse sickness when I wake up from anesthesia. Dr. Hertz worked with me and assured me they would do everything they could to prevent this. When I came thru with the surgery, I have maybe 2 minutes of that 'sick' feeling and that was all! I was amazed that I felt 'ok'. The recovery team was wonderful as well and I have to say that I've never had a procedure done before where I felt like they knew I was Betty Wilkes and not Betty - patience #1409 - it's a nice feeling!.
