Starting a new job and getting through the Christmas and New Years holidays were taking up a lot of my time, but in the back of my mind was the fact I was due to start my menstrual period in the middle of December. And of course, I did, right on time. This time though, it was a bizarre pattern totally abnormal for me. I started having pain on my left side that wasn’t severe but just noticeable.
