After Tubes Untied: A Tubal Reversal Angel Has Her Baby

Tubes Untied by Removing Tubal Clips
Jamie had a perfect delivery with her last son and decided her family was complete after having two boys. She underwent a Filshie clip tubal ligation and then Jamie and her husband, Kraig, lost their newborn soon Kohl to pneumonia. Pictured at the right are Jamie, Kraig, their oldest son Kale, and their newborn Kohl.
Jamie and Kraig made the decision they would try to have another child through tubal reversal. Jamie wanted to have her tubes untied so she could have more children. They came to Chapel Hill, North Carolina to have a reversal of her tubal ligation by Dr. Berger. Her surgery went very well and when they left the reversal center they understood their chances of getting pregnant after tubal reversal were excellent.
Tubal Reversal Surgery and Miracles
Miracles can sometimes be found in the wake of tragedy. Jamie had a tubal ligation after the birth of her son Kohl. After Jamie’s tubal ligation and within three months of birth, Kohl died of pneumonia. His death was in December of 2008. Jamie had a tubal reversal in February of 2009.
She quickly became pregnant and delivered their miracle baby, Jovie Rose, in December of 2009. Jovie was born almost one year after baby brother Kohl’s death and just two days before Christmas. Pictured above is big brother Kale with his newborn sister Jovie Rose.

I understand all to well, as my fiance and I lost our 3 month old son in April 2009. I recently had the tubal reversal procedure, and I am hopeful that I will conceive again. I am very grateful to my extended family at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center.
