Several more years passed and she then suffered the unexpected death of her oldest child. The death of her daughter, Taylor,  was a tragedy Tonya was not ready to accept nor was she going to accept the permanence of her tubal ligation. Tonya then began to inquire about the possibility and the chances of becoming pregnant after her tubes untied.

Pregnancy After Tubal Ligation

Pregnancy after tubal ligation is possible. Tonya became pregnant within three months of her tubal ligation reversal surgery. Her pregnancy went well and was without complications. She eventually gave birth to a healthy baby girl, Tayton, approximately 11 months after her tubal ligation reversal. Tonya’s story demonstrates pregnancy is possible after a tubal ligation.
