Dr. Berger trained in microsurgery in the 1970′s. Since that time he has developed an effective and successful sterilization reversal technique. His surgical practice is devoted exclusively to tubal ligation reversal and surgery to correct blocked tubes. Over time he gradually evolved his surgical technique to allow tubal reversal surgery to be performed safely in an outpatient setting and without the need for hospital stay. Other infertility doctors were not doing surgery this way, and Dr. Berger’s evolution in the practice of outpatient tubal reversal has allowed tubal ligation reversal to be obtained and afforded by many couples.

Sadly, many doctors still only offer more expensive tubal reversal without any improvement in the pregnancy success rates. Most commonly these are in hospital tubal reversal, laparoscopic tubal reversal, and robotic tubal reversal surgery.
