Tubal Ligation Reversal Blog

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center Is Moving!

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has been the only place to go for women who wanted the best tubal reversal surgery experience over the last two decades.

New-Reversal-Center-is-located-at-3613-Haworth-Drive-Raleigh-North-Carolina.Dr. Gary Berger started the reversal center and he exclusively offered tubal ligation reversal and surgery for blocked tubes to his patients. Over 10,000 women have had tubal surgery at the center since 1992 and there have been countless numbers of tubal ligation reversal babies born. These babies have become fondly known as ‘Berger Babies’.

In 2008, I, Dr. Monteith, joined Dr. Berger as a reproductive surgeon and worked alongside him for five years. Since joining Dr. Berger, I have performed over 1500 tubal reversal surgeries and my babies have been affectionately referred to as ‘Monteith Miracles’. Together we have worked side-by-side continually learning from each other and improving upon our surgical techniques.

During the time I worked at the center with Dr. Berger several important milestones were passed.

More reversals than any other doctor

Together, we performed more tubal reversal surgeries than any other doctors. The pregnancy database surpassed 10,000 tubal reversal surgeries. Patients who come to the center know they are getting the best tubal surgeons the world has to offer.

In 2011, Dr. Berger released the largest tubal reversal study ever on the success of tubal reversal surgery.

Essure reversal

We were the first doctors to publish within the peer reviewed medical literature reports of successful pregnancy after Essure sterilization reversal and Adiana sterilization reversal.

Best reversal surgeons

We were both featured in one of the first editions of The Triangle Physician.

A substantial portion of the magazine was devoted to Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center and the practice of tubal reversal surgery. Reporter followed several patients during the day and reported their experience while at the center.

Pregnancy testimonials

The most important milestone was crossing over 1000 patient submitted pregnancy testimonials.

What other doctors can demonstrate over 1000 success stories?

As of the publication of this article we have surpassed 1500 pregnancy testimonials.

Our testimonials are important to us because each patient has taken the time to send one, we have taken the time to place them on our website, and these testimonials offer the most important evidence we can provide about the success of our tubal reversals.

Dr. Monteith becomes Medical Director

Dr. Monteith takes over as Medical Director for Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center. In May of 2013, Dr. Berger stepped down as medical director of Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center to become Director of Research. He stopped accepting new patients so he could focus exclusively on analyzing the growing data in his pregnancy database, which contains information on over 10,000 patients.

I have continued to do surgery in the center since he stepped down and on December 19th, 2013, I performed the last tubal reversal surgery in the facility which was originally created by Dr. Berger and was located on Conner Drive in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

CHTRC has moved to Raleigh North Carolina!
