My first day back at work was the beginning of my second week of recovery.
I work as a receptionist so I have somewhat of a desk job, but I do have to get up and down to get files, answer phones, and assist clients. I took my heating pad to work with me those first few days.
I only worked half a day Friday and I was exhausted by the end of the half day shift.

April 27th, 2009 Dr. Berger and Dr. Monteith would like to share with readers the Patient Testimonial submitted by a new mother and recent patient of Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center.
Dawne and her husband had one child together and decided they wanted another child. She initially underwent a cycle of in vitro fertilization, which was unsuccessful because not a single egg could be retrieved for fertilization.
After her failed IVF procedure, Dawne came to Chapel Hill for a tubal reversal in November of 2007. In January of this year and at the age of 46, Dawne gave birth to a healthy baby boy (Cole Alexander).

This is a continuation of the series discussing pregnancy options for women considering tubal ligation reversal or in vitro fertilization (IVF).
This series of articles has been written by Dr. Charles Monteith and Dr. Gary Berger, the tubal reversal doctors at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center.
We continue with these blog articles to cover all topics related to regaining fertility after tubal ligation. We want our patients to be well educated so they can make informed decisions about their options when they want more children after having their tubes tied.

April 2nd, 2009 This is a humorous story about the cast members (tubal reversal staff) who participated in the tubal reversal of Mrs. Peach.
For readers joining this blog series a little background is necessary. In early 2009, Georgia Peach scheduled a tubal reversal surgery with Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center. She also expressed an interest in blogging from her perspective about her reversal surgery experience. She wanted more ‘details’ about what women where going through. We were delighted to have her write about her experience.
I thought I would give readers some ‘details’ on all the cast members who participated in Georgia Peach’s story. This is a purely humorous blog to demonstrate how much fun we have at our reversal center. If readers want a serious medical publication then they should ready ANY OTHER blog article on our website. In early 2009, Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center was contacted by Tanya who was interested in tubal reversal surgery. Tanya had been reading the Tubal Reversal Blog, wanted a tubal ligation reversal, and expressed a desire to document her journey for the benefit of other women.
She adopted her Tubal Reversal Message Board sign-on name and this was the start of the Tubal Ligation Reversal Journey of Georgia Peach.
In her last submission she described her experience the day of her reversal procedure. Her husband, Kevin (or now Mr. Peach), also gave his experience the day of surgery for the benefits of other husbands/partners. Now Dr. Monteith tells the story from his viewpoint.

Tubal Surgery
Tubal surgery is an excellent alternative to in vitro fertilization (IVF) for the treatment of tubal infertility. We have always known this to be true and we perform corrective tubal surgery for diseased, blocked, and tied fallopian tubes exclusively at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center.
March 19th, 2009 Tubal Reversal: Mr. Peach Speaks Out
At the request of my lovely wife, Tanya (aka Georgia Peach), I would like to give all the “Guys” an inside look into Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center and what they can expect during tubal reversal surgery and from the tubal reversal staff.
Tubal Ligation,Blocked Tubes: Desire For More Children
I never thought I would ever want another child, at least not until I met Tanya. We were married on December 22, 2008 and she is the most wonderful woman in the world. We started looking into tubal reversal in September 2008. Tanya was late starting her period that month and the curiosity of a pregnancy got to both of us.

March 17th, 2009 Tubal Ligation Reversal: Why Am I Blogging?
This is probably the most important blog I have typed to date. Previously, I read patient satisfaction messages about how they had were treated during their tubal reversal surgery. I had always gotten a brief synopsis of tubal sterilization reversal, but I hadn’t been given any in-depth, details of anyone’s surgery day. This is actually what got me started blogging for Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center.
I know tubal reversal surgery will be different for everyone, but this is how my surgery went…
