Tubal reversal family journey.Waiting for the tubal reversal surgery brought on much anxiety. It was a rather long wait for me and my husband and son, Harry and Ian, too. But, I can not begin to explain the amount of help that Dr. Berger and all his staff were for me, in helping me to relax and get through the wait. Jayden R. passed away at 2 months of age after my tubal ligation.My journey to Dr. Berger began on May 29, 2007, the day my youngest son, Jayden, was born. I knew in my heart I did not want my tubes tied, but because of 2 very life threatening pregnancies, we (me, my other half and doctor) decided it would be best to have a TL. Trisomy – Most Common Chromosome Abnormality

After Tubal Reversal Surgery: Returning To Work

Many-patients-feel-well-very-quickly-after-reversal-surgeryMy first day back at work was the beginning of my second week of recovery.

I work as a receptionist so I have somewhat of a desk job, but I do have to get up and down to get files, answer phones, and assist clients. I took my heating pad to work with me those first few days.

I only worked half a day Friday and I was exhausted by the end of the half day shift.

Natural Pregnancy At 46 After Tubal Ligation Reversal

Dawne and her husband had one child together and decided they wanted another child. She initially underwent a cycle of in vitro fertilization, which was unsuccessful because not a single egg could be retrieved for fertilization.

After her failed IVF procedure, Dawne came to Chapel Hill for a tubal reversal in November of 2007. In January of this year and at the age of 46, Dawne gave birth to a healthy baby boy (Cole Alexander).
