Tubal Reversal Blog ‘adiana reversal procedure’

The tubal reversal surgeons of Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center are honored to report the first successful pregnancy after an Adiana reversal procedure. This was the first Adiana reversal and is the first successful Adiana reversal pregnancy which has been reported to the medical field and greater public.

Adiana is a sterilization procedure that is very similar to the Essure procedure. Adiana was first approved by the FDA in July of 2009; however,  prior to this date Adiana was performed in the United States  only in clinical trials. Our patient was one of the first patients to undergo the sterilization procedure during a clinical trial and is now the first successful Adiana reversal patient.
