Tubal Reversal Blog ‘after untying tubes’

The first month after my tubal reversal surgery was a huge period of adjustment for us.

We were trying to move to a house closer to work, which was an ordeal considering I had just had surgery a month before the move. I also hadn’t seen my menstrual flow, which was giving me the hope I had conceived right after I had my tubes reversed. I tested six times in two weeks. All my pregnancy test had negative results. Any pregnancy can have a genetic abnormality. With increasing age the risk of a genetic abnormality increases. As a result, older mothers may have more of a need to consider genetic testing in pregnancy.

This  article provides basic information on genetic testing for our patients who become pregnant after having their tubes untied.
