We often meet angels who travel through Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center. In February of 2009, I had the good fortune to meet one such tubal reversal angel – her name is Nicole.
Nicole carries herself with the grace and presence of an angel. She has survived a difficult marriage, a divorce, an undesired tubal ligation, and the sudden, tragic death of her daughter. This is the story of my first baby after reverse tubal ligation. For the initial twelve years of my professional career, I practiced both high and low risk obstetrics and gynecology with a local university based group. This time was spent teaching medical students and residents, providing obstetrical care for high-risk populations, and performing minimal invasive surgery on high risk surgical patients.
