This is the third of a three page message thread about what makes Dr. Berger stand out as the best doctor for tubal ligation reversal surgery.

| MMG | mrszamudio, I feel compelled to give my 2 cents also. You ask "what's the difference between you and other doctors out there" and that is a very good question. However, the differences between Dr. B and other doctors in and out of his field are just too numerous to post. First let me say that I just had my TR (6/20/05) and I researched the topic for two years before ever making any contact with Dr. B's office. I work as a paralegal in the medical malpractice field so for me to choose a physician to perform a surgical procedure over the internet was very hard for me to do. Because of my profession, I had access to many physicians who were highly recommended and highly regarded in their field. But NOT ONE OF THEM - other than Dr. Berger - specialized in just TR's. They also performed other infertility procedures -which I was not interested in. As part of my research I emailed several of Dr. B's patients from his web site (all of whom responded), I researched Dr. B's credentials thoroughly through every avenue available to me professionally, and I did not come across ONE negative mark against him. I spent an entire year in reading the board and reading the testimonials of his patients. It is unbelievable to me that he has such an incredible support system available for his patients and any prospective patients. I have NEVER dealt with a doctor's office where the doctor himself takes such a personal approach to his patients. In the weeks prior to my TR I had numerous questions, which Dr. B and his staff promptly answered. Now that I have had my TR I am even more impressed than I was at the treatment I received, the personal attention given to me - like I was their only patient! My experience on the days before surgery and the day of was just incredible. He is truly a gifted man! I could go on and on but trust me I deal with doctors everyday and my biggest complaint both professionally and personally has always been that long gone are the days of "good bedside manner" and the Marcus Welby type Dr. You will find that Dr. Berger and his staff are everything you ever imagined a doctor's office should be. I urge you to stay on the board and see what everyone has to say. Notice how many times the staff and Dr. B himself responds to the questions posed. You WILL NOT find that anywhere else. There really is no other choice as far as I am concerned. I would choose Dr. Berger over anyone else no matter where he was or how much he cost. | DMH | I'm with everyone else I went to my DR. first and happen to come across a pamphlet about Dr. Berger so I researched him all over the internet and not one negative thing. I even called his office at least 50 times with all kinds of crazy questions, but his staff always answered with absolute kindness not matter how crazy my question was. I had my TR done 6/21. I was really nervous that morning and his nurses talked to me and made me feel at ease. In the recovery the nurses were really nice and Dr. berger came and talked to me. I've had several other surgeries and not one can I say the Dr actually talked to me after surgery. No matter where you look you will not find a better DR. than DR. Berger. Dr. Berger is the best at what he does and it shows in manners and how he and his staff treat each and every patient like they are the only one. I promise you, you will not regret going to Dr. Berger.  DAWN | |
