Susan: Dakota is absolutly beautiful.. I know what you mean about finding time Glad Mommy and Baby are doing well.. Ann Marie: I have no clue about old Wifes Tales to get Labor started.. Walking is supposed to help as well as the old fashioned getting knocked up way Hope you will be holding your Bundle of Joy real soon I thought Shaun posted that they were doing a C-section on Monday.. That was on Friday Oct 19th. Thought she meant this past Monday. Anyways hope all is well.. Can't wait to hear about the rest of the Babies Nothing happening here.. My Wedge I ordered shipped and should be here by Friday. Do you all swaddle your little ones? I have a huge Recieving Blanket 1 of the Sisters I used to work for made for Alex.. I have a little Houdini though as she manages to get out and she absolutly hates being swaddled to begin with. Even in the Hospital she didn't like it.. Any suggestions? I read about some of those Swaddle Blankets and was wondering if they are really worth it.. anyone has 1?
Hope everyone is having a wonderful Day..

Sooo irritating! I had a post almost complete and lost it. As I was saying... Congrats new mamas! It's been several days since I logged on (can anyone say no time with twins?). I can't believe how many new babies have arrived. The rest will be here before we know it. We decided to take a little mini-vacation to
Palm Springs before hubby has to go back to work on Monday. He and ds are at Knott's Berry Farm today. I decided to stay back with the twins. I hope to get outside for some sun later this afternoon. In the meantime, I need to make good use of this mornings naptime and jump in the shower. Sorry I didn't have time to read other posts, just the updated baby list. Keep up the good work, ladies! Monica

Nursing is going well...PAINFUL but well! LOL ! I had my staples removed today which makes it MUCH easier to move around! I am hoping for some time tomorrow in order to write on his website and post pictures. CONGRATS to all the new mommies!!!!!! Hope you are all doing well! Can't wait to see all the pictures!! Hi Fall Mommas! Just thought i would check in quickly while Bode is eating lunch and Brent is catching a cat nap. Sorry I haven't been on much. I can't believe how much time I DON'T have now that I have 2 little ones in the house. The idea of going back to work full time scares the bajeebers out of me. Glad to see that we have more babies arriving. Shaun - congrats on baby Faith's arrival! I just received the returned birth announce ment that I mailed to you with Brents photo. I will have to get with you on that address again. Brent aka porkchop is doing great. Eating every 1 - 1 1/2 hrs still and getting quite plump! We measured and weighed him yesterday and he was 21 inches and 13 lbs!! I brought him with me to my post partum check up and my OB was shocked that he had already doubled his weight at five weeks. He said that not very common for a baby that is born a month early, but that he thought he looked like a very healthy little boy. Good momma's milk! AAM - BIG news! I decided against another TL and had a Merana IUD placed. No plans for another baby, but I just couldn't bring myself to do that again. I've lost all my baby weight plus 10 lbs by 2 weeks post-partum, but seem to be a a plateau now. I would love to see another 20lbs shed. Breast feeding is going great. He is obviously gaining well!! I only have 4 oz stored for going back to work so far. It's hard to store any when he eats non stop! Yesterday I began taking the Fenugreek 3 times a day and pump after his 4 am feeding. I should see the boost from the Fenugreek tonight or tomorrow so that I can begin to store. Only 2 weeks of maternity vacation left for me. I am so sad about that. Can you believe that I have only had one nap this whole time off. Nearly impossible when the baby eats every hr and with all the work here in the new house. Only 5 more babies to go!! Congrats ladies.

Hi Girls! Sorry I dropped off the radar on you all. I tried a million times to log on last weekend but we had bad wind storms and our phone/internet service was crazy. Then came the fires and the smoke! It is raining ash outside! Bluck! Baby Faith came on Monday morning via c-section at 8:16 a.m. She weighed 8lbs exactly and was 20 inches long. Her delivery was smooth but they kept giving me different meds to counter the meds that I was reacting to so my Monday and Tuesday was a little rough. Came home Wednesday and recovering slowly. Jaylie (my 2 year old) is beside herself and wants to help. Krystal and Jay have been wonderful. It has all been a very overwhelming last week. I'm attaching a copy of her hospital picture. She was just about an hour old in this picture. I promise to post more next week. I'm glad everyone is well! Happy Birthday to all of Baby Faith's new cousins!!!!!! Hugs and Love

Shaun what a beautiful little girl you have. hope you are feeling good and that all is going well.
I still have no signs of going into labor, I did convince the dr to check me on thursday and nothing! I still feel really good, just anxious to see this little thing and finally know if it is a girl or a boy. I was really hoping the full moon friday night would have brought labor on but no such luck. Good luck everyone!

Hi everyone! I have been off for a while but I wanted to drop in and say hello!
Kim, Shaun, and Becky - CONGRATULATIONS I am so happy for you all! Becky - I hope you recover soon from the pnuemonia. I also had it after the birth of my 2nd daughter and it was awful. I will keep you in my prayers.
Chris - I love the Halloween pics!
Shaun - Faith is beautiful. I hope you are feeling well soon.
We had all sorts of company for a while. My folks came in for 2 weeks and DH's parents were also here. It was nice to have them here but also nice to have the peace and quiet back and get into a routine. I am still not getting much sleep at night. Rylee is up every 2-3 hours and after we get up at 5:00 I just stay up to get the others off to school. I try to nap some during the day but I feel bad because the housework is lagging! We had our 2 week check up and she is very healthy so I am thankful for that. We are still having a little trouble nursing (she keeps falling asleep!) so I have been pumping a couple times a day and using a bottle just to make sure she is getting enough to eat. I feel like I have either a baby or a pump attached to my breast all day! Sheila - what is fenugreek? Does it give you more milk? I don't seem to get a lot when pumping but when I manually express it shoots out everywhere. I have tried 2 different pumps.
Andie - Did you have fun at your maternity pics? I had mine done the day before I went into labor (nothing like waiting until the last minute!) I loved it. It made me feel really beautiful.
I can't wait to hear how everyone else is doing. I am posting a photo of Rylee's first photo shoot! I am going to take a picture of her in her Berger Baby shirt today!
Love and prayers to everyone!
Debra

http://www.totsites.com/tot/hansenbaby I updated Ben's website wanted to give you all the link. I will try to download some more pictures in the next couple of days. I don't think I have said lately, but we have some BEAUTIFUL babies!!!!!!!!!! They are all just gorgous!!!!! I absolutely LOVE the pictures of everyone's little ones!! So gorgous!!!! Chris- How is your sister doing? Debra- I feel the EXACT same way!! LOL! That's all I do all day is nurse Ben. I would love to get more sleep as he really likes to nurse at night, but can't seem to get much sleep during the day. ahh well it is plenty worth it! Also, fenugreek is a herb. It helps with milk production and supply. There are actually quite a few herbs that do that. I personally haven't ordered my tea yet, but plan to do so soon. Does anyone know the chances of becoming pregnant before your six weeks is up while breastfeeding?? Don't worry I haven't done anything to make it so I could be, but with DH leaving really soon...well thought I would ask. Will talk to you all soon!!!
Becky Here is a picture of Ben at 24 hours old.

all these baby pics are making me jealous! No news yet girls, today is my due date and nothing. Tomorrow I am having a non stress test just to be on the safe side the dr wants to check amniotic fluid, movement, and size of the baby. So that is tomorrow at 9am. If all is well I am currently scheduled for induction on the 12th Can you believe they are going to let me go over 12 flippin days? Becky I hope you start to feel better. oh yeah I am dialated 1 cm big deal I know! sorry I seem so grouchy I think my hormones are getting to me

My dr's visit went well - baby is about 6 pounds at this point. I am due for an amnio to test lung development on Nov 19 after which they will admit me to the hospital. I have to stop taking all my anti-clotting medication a couple fo days before. Even though the chances of a clot developing are slim my dr wants to error on the side of caution and have me and baby monitored before the csection on the 20th. So just an extra day in the hospital - I can deal with that!
And I am not dilated so all my contracttions are just braxton hicks. There's my update
Posted by annmarie1228 (Member # 8746) on November 03, 2007 06:19 PM :
ok ladies I went to the dr's on Friday. The baby is fine, heartbeat was good, fluid-good, movement-good, size about 8lbs, not showing any signs of stress. I was there for over 3 hrs and while there I started having cramps so the dr checked me and I was at about 1 1/2 cm so he stripped my membranes and told me to go home, walk and bd. So I did, and guess what NOTHING! the cramps stopped and no real contractions. I did have bloody show all night but that stopped too until today I went grocery shopping came home and started cramping again, more bloody show and what I think are pieces of my mucous plug (I don't know if you can loose just pieces or not) So sorry to dissappoint you ladies but I am still pg. Which I am not complaing about because it such a miracle to pg that I don't mind. They will induce me on the 12th if I don't go before then.
Posted by ncmom2boys (Member # 8448) on November 03, 2007 07:46 PM :
Annmarie, I lost my mucus plug the same way that you are describing. Walk, walk, walk and I bet the baby will come. Congratulations! Kim

Hi Annmarie, I don't belong on this thread, but wanted to tell you that I always lost my mucus the plug the same way, and when it started having tinges of red or pink in it, I always had my baby within 24 to 48 hours. I know everyone is different, but I really don't think you'll make it past the weekend, I really believe come the 12th, you'll have a week old baby. Good luck and congratulations!!

AnnMarie~~~I don't belong to this thread either, hopefully you won't mind me giving my experience. When I lost my mucus plug with my last TR baby, I actually felt it come out. It was a glob of mucus...reminded me of a spoon full of jelly (sorry if that's too gross) It was then two weeks later before I went into labor(on my own) Tammy
Posted by annmarie1228 (Member # 8746) on November 04, 2007 02:06 PM :
thanks ladies for all the input. I have not lost anymore of what I believe is my mucus plug. I went to family bon fire last night and only sat for a few minutes hoping gravity would help but again no luck I am really starting to believe that I will not go into labor on my own. That is ok though, I know it will still a very special day and having it planned won't be so bad. I go back to the dr on the 9th then induction on the 12th maybe this is all meant to be I had my tr surgery 2 yrs ago Nove 10th. So maybe this is some kind of anniversary baby!

Ann Marie - I lost my mucus plug the same way. It started about 2 weeks before. I was also dialted to 1 cm, then 1.5 cm a couple days before my water broke. I will tell you that the day before my water broke I felt awful! Lots of BH contractions and tired and back pain and all the rest. The day my water broke I felt great. I didn't have any contractions, worked all day, had lunch with DH, then that night...bam! my water broke! So stay close to home if you wake up feeling good!
Good luck to you and Andie!
Tammy, let us know how you are doing!

thanks ladies for sharing all your stories with me. I keep getting cramps and bloody show but then everything stops and I go on feeling fine. Atleast I know that on the 12th I will deliver my baby and finally see this little miracle. Hello ladies, Haven't posted for awhile, well, I just got home from the hospital today!!! My little man has arrived!! I sprung a leak around 4:15 Monday at work, dr. confirmed it, sent us to the hospital. we arrived there about 7 p.m. anyway, long story short, started pitocin around midnight, got an IV drug around 5 a.m. Nov. 6th, and wanted something stronger by 7- 7:30, but was dilated to 7 and they said it was to late. Baby was born at 8:15 a.m. on Nov. 6th. He weighed 7lbs 4.4 oz. and was 19 1/2 in. His name is
Sev Eugene. He is so loved. DH just can't get enough of him!! All I want to do is just sit and stare. I will try to post pics ASAP! Can't wait to hear about the rest of the babies coming!! Lisa

Monday the Movers are coming to bring all our stuff back.. can you believe it's ben nearly 4 Months since they came and packed up up.. I am soo ready to see everything again, get settled and start a routine.
Heard from my Family this morning. My Sister is doing as well as expected. Having allot of breathing issues and a hard time getting air. Please continue to keep her in your Prayers and thank you for them all.
Well that's the News from here..
Hope everyone is having a great Weekend.

First off congrats to all! I am doing fine. I am off one of my blood thinners. The stress test last week went well. One more dr's visit and he's here!
My dr wants me to cut back on work a couple of hours a day - this is my last week anyway - maternity leave starts Friday. SO that's it in a nut shell for me!

Hello Ladies! CONGRATS Lisa!!! Ann Marie- Hang in there hun! The 12th is tomorrow if you haven't had him or her yet!!!! Will be praying for you! Tammy- I am guessing little Matthew is here..hoping to see pics soon! Andie- Almost there!!! Woo Hoo!
Georgiagirl- You too! How are you both feeling? Here is a pic of Ben in his Berger baby shirt...2 weeks old! At his appt he is almost back to his birth weight. He's up to 7 lbs 8 oz, so only an ounce and a half to go and he is back up there! On a sad note- DH deployed today..that was really hard. It will be a year before he gets mid tour and 15 months before he comes home. UGH!!! Chris- Always praying for your sister and you, and your family! Glad to hear you are finally in a house! And before Thanksgiving!!! That is wonderful! How are all you other mommies doing?? I hope all is going well! Becky

Hi ladies! Thought I better check in since both kids are sleeping. I have found that I have absolutely NO time to do anything other than care for kids, get meals done and the house cleaned while on maternity vacation. Unfortunately that comes to an end today. Back to my full time job as of 8 am tomorrow and wouldn't you know, we are all ill with chest and sinus colds. Brent is a real lunker! For being 4 weeks early you would never know it looking at him now. As of last Thursday he was 14 lbs and 23 inches long. I buy diapers by the case and i ended up giving my brother and his wife over 400 diapers that I already opened becuase he grew out of the size 1-2's by 5 weeks. Now I buy individual packs because I know it won't be long until we are in size 3 allready. Looking back at Bode's growth charts, he didn't weigh this much until he was 4 months old. I'm going to request that his thyroid be rechecked at the 2 month well-child appointment because of his weight. I didn't think breastfed babies (and he is strictly BF - nothing else) could get so big and double their weight by 4 weeks of age. How are your babies sleeping for you? Brent eats and sleeps. He is awake for about two, 3 hr stretches. Ususally from 11 am - 2 pm then again from 8pm - 11pm. He finally just cut down to 2 feedings at 2 am and 4:30 am. Have you received any true smiles yet? None here, and I don't count the gas smiles. Bode was smiling at 7w1d. I was hoping I would see Brents first smile befor ethe daycare provider, but that doesn't seem to be the case this time. I'm thinking he is going to jus trun a little behind since he was born earlier. Soon I'll be able to update more often now that I am returning to work - once I get back into the groove of things again. Sure is nice seeing photos of all the pretty babies. Here is one of my little moose. Sheila Brent 7 1/2 weeks old. 14 lbs!!!

Just checking in with everyone! Andie - It won't be much longer now! Keep us posted!
Chris - Glad to hear that Madison is doing better. I have started to supplement a little with formula because Rylee wasn't gaining. She is back up now but she spits up a lot on the formula. Is the soy any better for that? I am keeping your sister in my prayers.
Becky - Love Ben's picture! Keep your spirits up. I am praying for you and your husband.
Sheila - You have time to take care of the baby AND cook and clean? You are my hero! I managed to vaccuum yesterday and we have eaten out twice this week. I am still so tired and Rylee wants to be held a lot. I know...my fault!
We are not on any kind of a schedule yet but I am going to get my act together so I can get things done around here. I have had a couple of smiles and she even laughed out loud once...right before she fell asleep. I don't know why but it was a laugh and it was so sweet! She is really strong and has been trying to hold her head up for a couple of weeks now. This freaks me out because she still seems so little! How is everyone doing weight wise? I still have about 20 pounds that I want to lose. It doesn't seem to be coming off as fast as it did last time. Then again I am not in my 20's anymore. My older girls are going to be with their father for Thanksgiving so it will be must me, Rylee, and DH around here next week. If I don't get a chance to post again, I hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving. We all have A LOT to be Thankful for!!! Oh---Tammy, let us know how you are doing!!

I am also using Dr Brown Bottles as well as the Playtex Drop ins.. We are having Colic Issues though from 8pm till 12:30am and I hope that will end soon... Well she is calling. Alex is still sleeping and Hubby is working Nights so he is sleeping too. Will try to check back in later..

Hey girls! Long time, no... type??? How are you and your babies all doing? Seth, Ethan and I are well. They have colds right now so they're having a hard time breathing and sleeping at night. Poor little guys. I am busy as can be with them, but enjoying them too. I haven't been able to check in much lately. I can't believe how many more little ones have arrived. Congrats to all the new mommies. I finally added some pics of the boys to the photo album. They were taken a few weeks ago, but give you a good idea of how different they look. Maybe someone can add one of them to this post since I'm a dummy and don't know how??? Thanks in advance. I only have a second. The twins are asleep and I'm trying to put the finishing touches on getting ready for dh's family to arrive for Thanksgiving tomorrow. We'll have a house full - - 22 at last count. Fortunately, only 6 of them are actually staying with me. Still plenty of work though. Especially with babies that aren't feeling well and just want to be held. And might I add how good I am at holding both at once! I wish I had more time to catch up on all the posts. Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Monica

I know they aren't considered the 'real' ones, but his smile is so precious...Sev gets to be 'smilely'and sometimes a 'small' giggle before he falls asleep...it is so cute!! Me on the other hand had to have an appendectomy on 11/20 for a ruptured appendix. So here I am having just had a baby exactly 2 weeks prior, back in the hospital for surgery. I finally got out on Friday. I have this nice incision from my belly button down... Can't wait to hear from everyone! Lisa

Congrats Andie.. Can't wait to see Pics.. I was told you add them into your album and then get the Link from there to add to your post. I usually add Pics to Photobucket and copy paste the URL link to the post.. Lisa: I am sorry about your Surgery but glad you are back at home.. Those smiles are priceless even if they are not considered real smiles. For those who were asking about my Sister. Well I got some really sad News on Thanksgiving. My sister was taken by Ambulance to a different hospital for them to try and drain Fluid that was building up in her Body. Her Cancer spread past the Lungs and it is everywhere. The Doctors can't do anything.. I called her at 1:46am our time yesterday and talked to her for a few seconds. I told her I loved her and as we said our Good-bye I knew it would be the last time I will ever get to hear her Voice again. I just found out that she is in her last Moments and before today is over she will be gone 4-ever.
Please keep our Familis in your Prayers. I didn't make it over there in time and won't make it in time for her Funeral either
Thank you all for the thoughts and Prayers. I really apreciate them!

Thank you everyone.. As of 4pm US Central time my Sister was still clinging to Life but it is only a matter of time.. When I called my Mom who is staying with her tonight I could hear my Sister breathing.. It is so loud and shallow. I bought Tickets for Alex and I and we are heading over there on Thursday (arriving Friday morning) and coming back Dec 10th. I am working on packing and have to find black stuff to wear since I know I will be going for a Funeral.. I have been going thru stuff since we are still unpacking and realize I don't have many Pics of her anymore This is all still so unreal.
Thank you everyone for your thoughts and Prayers. It will be a rough road ahead for all of us especially her 4 young Children.
God bless you all

Thank you everyone.. I arrived in Germany yesterday early morning. We went to see my Sister and although I knew she was gone it made it even more real. She looked at peace but I was still shocked at the way she looked and where I was visiting her at. It looked like she would open her Eyes any second and start laughing. Kinda strange feeling.. I brought her a Angel Bear and asked her Dh if I could leave it for her in the Coffin and he said yes. He even came around the Car and gave me a Hug. This is the Man who never as much as shock my Hand the 2 times I saw him when I was here last. I think he really is changing. If so then her death wasn't for nothing and brought something good.. The Funeral is Tuesday and it was in todays Paper. It is such a strange feeling to read it. Still in a way wish this was all a Nightmare and I want to wake up from it.. She had gone thru so much and I can't begin to imagine all the Pain she has felt over the past 2 Years.. Although she had been so ill and fighting so hard and we all knew the End would come eventually it is still a shock at how quickly it ended up happening.. I know it is a relieve for her but I so wish she was still with us. My Mom said that before she passed she opened her Eyes and my Mom told her that it was ok to let go and that I would not be mad if she did before I got there. She closed her Eyes and took her last Breath.. Was she really trying to wait for me? It makes me sad to think that I caused her to suffer longer because I didn't get my Tickets faster. Some things we will never know and never get another chance to change. I know I am going to really try harder to be a better person.. Maybe this is another good thing that came with her passing! Realizing what is and what isn't important.. Sorry to ramble!
Anyways.. bringing Alex was definantly a good thing. He is such a distraction for my Parents..
Well I am off... just wanted to let you all know I have arrived!

Chris I stopped in on this thread... just to see the count of babies. Gives us all a little hope in the TTC game to see the other expecting moms and arriving bundles. I would like to offer my sympathy. It is never easy to realize how wrapped up we get in our daily lives - and how easily we lose sight of some of the fundamental blessing we all have every day. May your sister, you and your entire family find peace. May all the good she left you all with be in your hearts to help you remember life's blessings every day! I am sorry for your loss! Chrissy

Hi girls, We certainly are a quiet group these days. I know personally speaking, I barely have time for a shower... ewwww, but I still like seeing how everyone is when I have a second. The twins are asleep for now. They had their first shots this morning. They are now 9 weeks old. Seth weighs 10lbs. 8oz. and Ethan is 9lbs. 11oz. They're still on the small side, but their doctor was pleased with their growth. I will attempt to post a couple of pictures in the photo album that were taken 10 days ago. They change so quickly, don't they? Today was also a big day for me. I officially resigned from work so I won't be going back next month when my fmla is up. I'm a little nervous about finances though. I am unemployed for the first time in 11 years! Yikes! Honestly, it's the best thing for the twins and I. I really don't see where I'd have time for a job not to mention what it would cost me in daycare. I'm guessing upwards of $1000 a month. Not worth it! Chris, I'm glad you made it back to the states safely. Sorry again about your sister's passing. I also updated the babies' blog. Take a look if you like. www.2snyders.blogspot.com Happy Holidays to all of you. Monica

Chris, so glad to hear you made it back ok! I bet that was hard being away from Madison for so long, but worth it to be there with your family. Monica- they are ADORABLE!!! Glad to hear things are going so well! Hope everyone else is doing well also! We are getting ready for Christmas and looking forward to the new year and all that it will bring. I personally have been sick..mastitis, thrush (Ben has it and lovingly passed it on to me...VERY painful to nurse!UGH!), possible bladder or uterine infection, they are running the tests to see...ahhh It all just seems to come on at once. My DH is doing well. They have had 5 guys injured in just 1 month. Never a good sign. But so far he is fine. Ben's 2 month appt is on the 3rd, but last week he weighed in at 10 lbs 8 oz...not sure how accurate that is since it wasn't done at the hospital, but I am hoping pretty close. He smiles all the time! He has tried laughing, but it's like it gets stuck, which is just as cute. Hope everyone is doing well and all the babies are doing just as good!!!! Here's a pic of Ben giving one of his big smiles And here is one of my favorite pics of him so far Hope to hear from ya'll soon
