Pregnant Again at 42
Hi, my name is Beth. I had TR surgery in November 2001 with Dr. Berger. I was 35 at the time and my husband was 22. Fourteen months later we were pregnant with a beautiful baby girl. Sydni was born September 19 2003 and is a true blessing to everyone – she is 5 now.
We thought maybe my tubes had closed back up but for Christmas we got a very special surprise. We are pregnant again 7 weeks along and counting, and I am now 42! I have 2 older kids from a prior marriage that are Jenni, 21 and Andrew 23. They were very surprised at Christmas, but are so happy!!!
God is good and he works in His time, not ours, so to all who are longing for another child – go for it – but don’t forget to pray!!

Being pregnant and having a child at age 40 and above are really a blessing. Having a pregnancy at any given age is very difficult. Having a pregnancy at your 40’s and above is even much harder. This is truly a blessing and you should cherish it. After all, not all women who wish to have a child get pregnant and definitely not all 40 and above-aged women get pregnant during this time.

I’m 42 years old and pregnant. I only have 6 weeks to go and am worried and scared about the future. I was married for 27 years and have 2 children ages 13 and 7. After my husband’s death, I met this wonderful man and within 6 months I was pregnant. I know that GOD gave her to me and this wonderful man that loves me more then I could ever think possible. Please tell me how you are dealing with this new addition and what the future might hold for you.

Hi Beth I had my TR in May 2007. I had a tubal pregnancy in July 2007, I told my husband I would try six more months and I want to be done trying……I’m 42 and just found out that I’m pregnant. So I would love to have someone to talk to that is my age and going through this. I also have a 23 yr girl, 15 yr boy and 12yr girl and have custody of a 3yr girl (long story hopefully I can share that with you someday). So if you would like to reply I would love to hear from you.
