So I went back to my OB and we going to HSG to make sure the left tube is still open and she wants me to lose some weight before she puts me on Clomid. So I want to know is anyone else in my situation and does weight have anything to do with getting pregnant, and if so, how ? I had muliple surgerys and even had been put on lupron which is a drug that sends you into early menopause, after not ovulating for almost a year the doctor said the likelyhood of us getting pregnant were very slim. At that moment we pretty much decided that if it was meant to be then we would if not then it wouldn't. We put it all into Gods hands. I can't say that I forgot about getting pregnant altogether because I don't think that can ever really happen for any woman who is desperate to concieve I just quit thinking about it. Soon after we decided that we weren't doing any more treatments we weren't going to watch the calender anymore we were just going to enjoy being with each other and what each of us brought to the others life all of a sudden it happened. ITs like the more we tried we were let down month after month. When we quit trying it happened. I guess what I am saying is when you stop worrying and about getting pregnant then it will happen.
