Although I don't feel comfortable posting my personal story with TL, if I had been more informed it would have been a much easier time for me.
Thank you so much for getting this important information out there.

Thank you so much for providing so much information in this website! Although I don’t feel comfortable posting my personal story with TL, <a

This all seems so unreal. I thought that I was just going crazy, there was no way that I could be having symptoms from my TL. I thought that things would get better after knowing I was having a permanent procedure done. Boy was I wrong. I just had my TL in April of 09 and got my first period about 5 weeks after. I had the procedure done after my 3rd c-section. I have never been in so much pain in my life. I thought that contractions were bad. Well, medications can make those go away. There is no alleviating the pain I am having from cramps and the heavy bleeding. I have never had problems like this before. My periods were lasting maybe 3 days before my TL - now it is over a week of heavy bleeding. I mean I am going through panties and pants everyday of my period. I am clotting very bad and they hurt so much that I don't even want to get out of bed and do anything but lay in the fetal position for hours. It has been reassuring to read all of the posts from these women who are having the same symptoms as I am. I have an apppointment with my doctor today to express and hopefully get a better understanding of what is going on with me. I can't keep going on like this, it isn't me right now, I hate this person - she isn't fun, she is a drag.
I thank all of you for letting me see that I am not crazy and that there may be a way to fix it.
