I had a positive pregnancy test on Aug 31, 2009. My husband and I were excited. I went to my OB that afternoon. They did an ultrasound, but did not see anything yet. They checked my blood work. I found out on Tuesday my HCG was 183. I went this morning to have my HCG checked again and will find that out in the morning when the OB gets the results. I thought this was low, but he seem to think it’s good. Even though they did not see anything on my ultrasound, I may not be as far along as they originally thought. I had my home pregnancy test come back positive and at the doctor’s office my test was positive, so I am pregnant but just not sure how far along right now. We are waiting for my HCG’s to raise up.
We are very excited. It’s my husbands first baby. We were shocked that it was this soon after my tubal reversal, but that is GREAT! It would not even be possible with out Dr. Monteith! I knew that I had a lot against me, but we are overcoming this and everything is looking up for us!

More Information on Husbands First Baby
I was very pleased with choosing Dr. Monteith. He was only able to open one of my tubes but this was not his fault. My doctor had been way more aggressive than described in his operative reports. I don’t think if I would have went anywhere else they would have even be able to do as much as Dr. Monteith.

This is my 3rd pregnancy since tubal reversal, first 2 ended in miscarriage. I am very excited once again but also very nervous. I’m hoping third time will be a charm. I had my first blood draw today. Thank you again Dr. Monteith.

Dr. Monteith, I just want to personally thank you for helping us make our dream come true! I am 18 wks pregnant with a little boy to be named Daniel. I had my tubal reversal surgery with you back in November ‘08 and am so grateful for the opportunity for this miracle! I have 3 girls now, 19, 17, and 15 and hardly dared to dream that I would ever have a son, we are overjoyed!

Dr. Monteith, Thank you so much for this opportunity. I failed IVF because they said I was not fertile enough but your tubal reversal proved them wrong! The ultrasound showed a perfect sac and Hcg is doing what it should. Thank you so much. I never thought it would happen so soon or without medication. Your office is wonderful!

More Information on IVF
I am pregnant again but I was actually pregnant with in a month of my surgery, but it was an ectopic pregnancy and was surgically removed within a week of my positive pregnancy test. We are hoping for a better outcome this time, and so far so good. Thank you Dr. Monteith for giving us this opportunity.
