Tubal Reversal Patient Satisfaction Messages ‘doctor’

My last period was in October but after having a regular period I started bleeding again. With the bleeding I was also having right lower abdominal pain. I stopped bleeding on Nov 18th but was still having pain so I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. I talked to one of your tubal reversal nurses on call about the situation and ended up going to the ER. They drew an HCG level and did an ultrasound. The doctor stated that everything looked OK and I have an appointment tomorrow to see a new Ob/Gyn doctor. So, hopefully all will be OK.

Your staff at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center have been so supportive and reassuring. I just want them to know that I appreciate all that they have done.

I am going to see my OB-GYN on 11-12- 09. My husband did the BHCG test, on Friday the 6th, and it was 81. We will repeat the same test on 11-10-09 and again on the 12th. We are crossing our fingers.

I had my ultrasound today and all is well. I am 5 weeks, 3 days and there is a sac inside of the uterus with something beginning to develop. The doctor there said he will never forget us because I’m the only patient he has that has had a tubal reversal.

My husband and I are very hopeful that everything will work out this time. I feel great. Thanks!

This is attempt #2. After finding out 1 month after the reversal we were pregnant, and it was an ectopic, we have been blessed with another opportunity. I was very pleased with choosing Dr. Monteith. He was only able to open one of my tubes but this was not his fault. My doctor had been way more aggressive than described in his operative  reports. I don’t think if I would have went anywhere else they would have even be able to do as much as Dr. Monteith.

Just wanted to let you all know now because I couldn’t wait until 20 weeks !    I went and had an ultrasound and we are having a girl.  She was moving like crazy we almost didn’t get to see her sex because she kept pulling her legs up and crossing them.  She cracks me up already. Dr. Monteith, I had my tubal reversal on March 3, 2009 and had a positive pregnancy test on July 8, 2009. I am just waiting to see the doctor to get all my tests done. I will keep you posted with everything. We are so happy and that’s thanks to you guys!

My family and I would like to extend a warm Thank you to you and your staff for allowing us again to have TR baby #2.  Avasofia Isadora arrived June 12, 2009 at 8:52pm. weight 7pds 4 ounces and 18 1/2 inches long. We couldn’t be any happier and more excited this time around again! When I tell people of my TR, everyone stays in amazement that I ended up pregnant so fast right after the surgery and not only once, but twice with no fertility meds or anything. Dr. Berger, This is my second pregnancy after my tubal reversal. I have a daughter who was born 2/20/2007. I was told both tubes were blocked after an HSG in 5/2006, but a month later I was pregnant. They told me it “just happened by chance and probably would never happen again.” Well, I guess they were wrong, because I am pregnant again. I have not seen a doctor yet, but I will make an appointment soon.
