I had my first appointment with the midwife today October 23, 2009. They drew blood to test my Hcg levels and I will return again on Monday for more. I wanted to share with you that we are in fact pregnant!

Dear Dr. Berger -

Our pregnancy has progressed with no complications and are very excited. Both mom and baby are doing well. We are going in Monday morning on October 26 for Barbara’s C-section. We had our last doctor’s visit yesterday and all went great. We still don’t know what sex the baby will be but we will let you know ASAP after the birth. I had a wonderful experience at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center… Everyone was so kind and professional at all times. I was treated so well that I’m almost kind of sorry that it is over with. I just wanted to report that after 4 1/2 years, and one ectopic pregnancy I received a positive pregnancy test yesterday. I did not use any medications, stopped predicting my ovulation and just really left it in God’s hands and believed that he would give me the desire of my heart. I thank God for Dr. Berger’s skilled hands and commitment to enhancing the lives of people who at one point had no hope. For those still trying, stay positive, always believe, and pray. Dr. Berger, I would like to thank you for our beautiful baby girl born after my tubal reversal.

Dear Dr. Berger and staff,

It was two years ago today that you performed my tubal ligation reversal. My husband and I felt prompted to have this surgery done so that we could try to add another child to our family. After one miscarriage and one ectopic pregnancy (which was resolved using methotrexate), we found out that we were once again expecting on Halloween of last year.

We are pleased to announce that Matthew Steven made his appearance into this world on July 1, 2009 at 8:22 am, weighing 8 lbs and measuring 20 1/4 inches long. He is the joy of our family and is adored by everyone. We simply wanted to say thank you for making this little miracle baby possible!

My family and I would like to extend a warm Thank you to you and your staff for allowing us again to have TR baby #2.  Avasofia Isadora arrived June 12, 2009 at 8:52pm. weight 7pds 4 ounces and 18 1/2 inches long. We couldn’t be any happier and more excited this time around again! When I tell people of my TR, everyone stays in amazement that I ended up pregnant so fast right after the surgery and not only once, but twice with no fertility meds or anything. I tell them all the time that you and your staff are my miracle that allow me to have this wonderful second chance with my fiance who didn’t have children and wanted to start a family with myself and my older two kids.And when a Great Man comes along and you have a Doctor like you, who we hoped can help us and did, we would like to say “Thank you” from the bottom of our hearts.

When we had the reversal surgery done on February 25, 2009 we were unsure how long it would take to get pregnant, but less than four months later here we are with a positive pregnancy test. We would like to thank Dr. Berger and his amazing staff for making our dreams a reality. You truly perform miracles for families and you have done so for ours.
