Tubal Reversal Patient Satisfaction Messages ‘HCG’

I had a positive pregnancy test on Aug 31, 2009. My husband and I were excited. I went to my OB that afternoon. They did an ultrasound, but did not see anything yet. They checked my blood work. I found out on Tuesday my HCG was 183. I went this morning to have my HCG checked again and will find that out in the morning when the OB gets the results. I thought this was low, but he seem to think it’s good. Even though they did not see anything on my ultrasound, I may not be as far along as they originally thought. I had my home pregnancy test come back positive and at the doctor’s office my test was positive, so I am pregnant but just not sure how far along right now. We are waiting for my HCG’s to raise up.

We are very excited. It’s my husbands first baby. We were shocked that it was this soon after my tubal reversal, but that is GREAT! It would not even be possible with out Dr. Monteith! I knew that I had a lot against me, but we are overcoming this and everything is looking up for us!

Dr. Monteith we went to the doctor’s on the same day we had positive on home pregnancy test HCG level was 27 did ultrasound way to early to see anything, went back two days later had another HCG which was at 70…. will go back on 8/5/09 to have another HCG and ultrasound.

Thank you Dr. Monteith and staff for the excellent care you provided us. My husband and I are very pleased to be expecting our first Monteith miracle! I had a blood draw on Monday (7/27) to confirm the digital hpt results, they came back today with a positive! I go tomorrow for another blood draw to make sure the hcg is multiplying as it should, then we will be scheduling the ultrasound! I’m only at a level of 550 right now for the hCG testing. Also, I had heavy bleeding a week ago. So, we are not too excited yet till we get good news that everything is OK.

My home pregnancy tests kept showing negative results, but I was at cycle day 42 and 22 days post-ovulation, so I called the doctor, and he advised me to come in for a blood test. I have to go back, because he did not order the lab to get the HCG number.

I got my first BFP the month after my husband came home in 2005. I had a M/C the following month, but before AF could show her ugly face, we got a BFP at the end of May 2005. I went for an ultrasound and it showed 2. When I went back a week later we had 1 sticky bean. We had an amazing little boy in January 2006. We really haven’t tried since then. Kinda if it happened it happened sorta thing. I kept track of when ovulation should occur and that was it. Then on May 17th I took a home pregnancy test and got a BFP. I thought I was seeing wrong, so yesterday morning I took another one and there it was again. I had my first blood draw yesterday and my hCG numbers were 917.

I am 35 and my dh is 47. I really never thought we would get another BFP. Thank you Dr. Berger!

I do not know what to say! Oh my gosh… I can’t believe we are pregnant. We tried to become pregnant without trying too hard. Last month we decided to try ovulation prediction testing and, no sooner than we started using ovulation testing, I became pregnant.

I tested positive on a home pregnancy test just after missing my period! We then had a positive pregnancy blood test and… we are so excited! We will begin the hCG blood testing soon… thanks so much!
