Dr. Berger,

I just wanted to update you on my status – I am pregnant again. I had no plans on conceiving until after my September 25th cycle. Well, on September 25th, I had very light spotting and very light spotting on Saturday. Towards the afternoon on Saturday and towards Sunday, there was nothing to be seen. I decided to run a pregnant test on the 27th. It was a very,very,very light positive but it was there! I tested again on the 29th and the 30th, which all turned out to be a darker positive. I go for my 1st HCG blood draw today.

Thanks to you and your staff BUT ESPECIALLY YOU, because you are the man with the hands…. smile….. I am able to conceive! I thank you so, so much and I hope and pray that this pregnancy is a happy healthy 9 month pregnancy. Thank you again!

Dr. Monteith, your surgery was a success!!! I was a patient of yours last September 19th 2008. It is September 22 2009 and now I am 5 weeks pregnant! I had blood work done at my OB GYN yesterday and I have an appointment tomorrow. They may do a sonogram. I started Clomid in August because I was getting nervous with my 1 year mark almost up…. and BOOM. We are very excited! Thanks Dr. Monteith.

More Information on Pregnant Again

Dr. Berger, This is my second pregnancy after my tubal reversal. I have a daughter who was born 2/20/2007. I was told both tubes were blocked after an HSG in 5/2006, but a month later I was pregnant. They told me it “just happened by chance and probably would never happen again.” Well, I guess they were wrong, because I am pregnant again. I have not seen a doctor yet, but I will make an appointment soon.

It is wonderful to be able to be pregnant again after 13 years! It only took two months! Two of my daughters are due this summer, so I will be a grandma before we have our baby who is due in October!!! There’s lots of excitement in our family this summer. I do not know what to say! Oh my gosh… I can’t believe we are pregnant. We tried to become pregnant without trying too hard. Last month we decided to try ovulation prediction testing and, no sooner than we started using ovulation testing, I became pregnant.

I tested positive on a home pregnancy test just after missing my period! We then had a positive pregnancy blood test and… we are so excited! We will begin the hCG blood testing soon… thanks so much!

More Information on Positive Pregnancy Test

I had my tubal reversal in the summer of either 2003 or 2004 and found out I was pregnant in November of that year. I miscarried in December of the same year. It is now 2009 and I just found out I am pregnant again at age 38. My HCG level was 375 and I am having another test done tomorrow.

My oldest son is now 18 and my youngest will be 16. I have wanted a baby for so long and was scared from the miscarriage before. I am doing a lot of praying. Any information to make me feel better about this would be welcome. Jennifer was wonderful on the phone tonight and very helpful to me. Thank you very much for your help through these years, and let Dr. Berger know he is a God send.

I miscarried my first pregnancy following my reversal in June 2008. I was only a month or so pregnant at the time. But I quickly became pregnant again. We now have a little boy due June 29, 2009. We can’t wait to bring our little Cody home! Thank you for this wonderful gift.

The date of my tubal reversal was 7/03/08. My last pregnancy miscarried, but that told us my tubes are open and working. Six weeks after the D&C my period came and now I am pregnant again, thanks to the patience and skill of Dr. Berger and a tremendous blessing from God.
