Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center Is Changing Locations

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE December 22, 2013

(Raleigh, NC) Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center is moving to a new location in Raleigh North Carolina. The center has been located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina when Dr. Gary Berger founded it in 1982. Initially the surgical facility was a multi-specialty center that offered in-vitro fertilization, gynecologic, plastic, and facial surgery. In 1992 the center began to exclusively offer surgery for tubal ligation reversal and corrective surgery for blocked fallopian tubes.

Dr. Monteith joined Dr. Berger in July of 2008. Under the leadership of Dr. Berger, Dr. Monteith became proficient in the art and science of sterilization reversal surgery. Together the two surgeons performed surgery and learned from each other as they worked to help couples overcome the burden of tubal ligation and infertility from blocked tubes.

Together these two surgeons were the first surgeons to reverse Essure sterilization and Adiana sterilization. Together they worked to accumulate over 1500 patient pregnancy testimonials. As a result of their efforts they were also featured in leading medical publications.

In June of 2013, Dr. Monteith became the Medical Director of Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center and Dr. Berger became the Director of Research. While Dr. Monteith performed surgery Dr. Berger devoted his time to the extensive study of his Tubal Reversal Database, which contains information on over 10,000 tubal surgery patients.

Dr. Monteith made the decision to move the center to Raleigh, North Carolina. In doing so, he was able to offer future patients a new surgical facility with cutting edge technology, closer access to Raleigh Durham International Airport, choice of two luxury hotels within a half a mile of the new facility, and walking distance to numerous restaurants and shops.

The last surgery ever to be done at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center in its former location was performed on Thursday, December 19th, 2013. The new office opens its doors in 2014 and future patients have much to be excited about in preparation for the New Year. Information about the new center can be found on the center’s website and the new address will be 3613 Haworth Drive Raleigh, North Carolina.
