| Digger | I don't have any info on doctors in Mexico but remember that the quality work performed has a lot to do with your success in getting pregnant.This is definitely one instance when you want the best - not the least expensive or closest. Be careful when chosing a doctor and make sure you know his credentials and success rates. Best of luck to you on your TTC journey.

| Angela M. | I live in central Florida and there is a tubal reversal center 1 1/2 hours from me. But I chose to drive to Chapel Hill NC because Dr. Berger has done the most tubal reversals and has the highest pregnancy rate. You definitely want the best doctor to do your procedures. You have to ask yourself why are doctors in Mexico so cheap? |
| ROSEMARY M | My husband is from Mexico and he says not to travel over the border to have the tr. He was amazed at the way that Dr Berger and staff treated us and the girls the day we went in. Reconsider your options. I have faith that Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center will more than met your needs.

| Gracie00007 | Making the ultimate decision as to who you choose to perform your TR is totally up to you. I highly suggest doing very careful and methodical research. I have heard of some women thinking about going to Mexico, but I think they ultimately chose Dr. Berger. Cost and travel should not be the deciding factors. There are quite a few women on this message board that have traveled thousands of miles to have Dr. Berger perform the surgery (including myself). It's not because I like to fly - that's for sure. For me, the TR decision started a couple of years ago, but with research, discussion and time, I ultimately chose Dr. Berger because he is the BEST. End of story, HE IS THE BEST! You should expect the highest possible credentials and standards. You will get that with Dr. Berger. Do you want your life in the hands of a surgeon who is the BEST or someone who is in Mexico because he is cheaper and closer? That's a no brainer to me! I personally would not travel to Mexico simple because what recourse do you have if something goes wrong??? What government do you think would help you???
Where else can you talk with other TR women in such an "Open" format??? And I do apologize in advance for being so blunt but it's your life. Like I said the decision is totally up to you and I hope you make peace with whomever you choose...Good Luck and keep us posted.

That why he said not to travel over to Mexico. We plan to travel to Chapel Hill in June. Isn't that the reason you're on the Message Board, as well for Dr. Berger to do your tr? |
