Scheduling Tubal Ligation Reversal with Dr. Berger or Dr. Monteith

We are always available to answer your questions or to assist you in scheduling your tubal reversal.To assist you with scheduling your reversal procedure, we have prepared a Step-By-Step Guide For Scheduling your tubal reversal procedure.

When you are ready to schedule your surgery, payment of a $100 scheduling fee is required to be added to the surgery schedule. The payment is non-refundable and can be made via PayPal by sending it to Payments@tubal-reversal.net. Payment can also be submitted via Visa, MasterCard, or Discover or by bank wire. Once the scheduling fee has been submitted and received by our office, you are ready to call us to complete the scheduling process or one of our Tubal Reversal Nurses will contact you to confirm a surgery date. During the phone consultation, we will obtain the necessary information to complete the scheduling process. Most patients can be scheduled within four weeks from the date they contact our office.

Once you have a surgery date scheduled, print a copy of the Pre-operative Checklist to help you stay organized as you prepare for your reversal surgery and trip to Chapel Hill.

For maximum safety in the outpatient surgery setting, our policy requires patients to have a body mass index (BMI) of less than 37 at the time of surgery. BMI is based on height and weight and can be determined by using our BMI calculator. For your own safety, it is essential that you provide accurate information regarding your medical history when scheduling surgery and during your anesthesia consultation. Providing inaccurate information about weight, past surgery or medical conditions may result in your procedure being cancelled or rescheduled.

A responsible adult over the age of 18 must accompany you to the facility for your consultation and on the day of surgery. This person must remain with you in the facility during your consultation, your surgery, and at the hotel following your discharge from the surgery center. Because our waiting area is small, you must bring only one person - your responsible adult - with you on the day of surgery. For the safety, comfort, and privacy of all of our patients, children are not allowed to accompany parents to the facility.
