Dr. Monteith serves as the Medical Director of the tubal surgery speciality center and he has recently announced a new plan to offer discounted tubal reversal fees to patients.
Discounted reversal surgeries will be offered to patients as these discounts are available using a new Tubal Reversal Prepayment Account (RPA). Patients who are considering surgery at the center and who want discounted surgery fees are encouraged to start a prepayment account.
A discounted reversal fee will be offered, if available, to members who have an active RPA.
Tubal Reversal Prepayment Account
If you have an older prepayment account then you are not eligible for a discounted rate but you can convert your prepayment account to a new RPA. This can easily be done after paying an initial scheduling fee and completing phone scheduling interview.
In order to be eligible for a discounted rate you must go through an initial prescheduling process. This prescheduling process is important to be eligible for a discounted rate because the prescreening process makes sure you are a safe candidate for outpatient surgery. This prescreening allows patients to save with greater confidence and allows them to take an available opening on much shorter notice.
Discounted surgery fees will be offered to patients who have been prescreened and can take advantage of last minute openings as they occur in the surgery schedule.
Discount tubal reversal surgery
To be eligible for a discount on surgery, potential patients will need to complete an online prescheduling questionnaire, pay an initial $125 scheduling fee, and then complete a ten minute prescheduling interview with the scheduling nurse.
After the phone interview is complete, patients will need to send the result of a recent complete blood count to confirm they are not anemic. If any other medical problems exists, patients may be required to send further testing.
Opening a Tubal Reversal Prepayment Account
After the phone interview and lab testing are completed, patients are required to send an initial contribution of $500 along with a signed RPA contract. Once this has been done a person will be considered an official RPA member and they will receive emailed notifications on the first of every month about the availability of discounted rates if these discounts are available.
