Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome
"Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome was very real for me."
Posted via email March 29, 2005
"Dr. Berger, I had my surgery in November of 2004. I want to thank you for a wonderful experience. You and your staff were great.
My periods have been much better since the surgery. November, December, and January were great with no heavy bleeding. In February and March I had just one heavy day. All 5 months my period was only 5 days instead of 7. The heavy day in February and March was nothing compared to the 2 extremely heavy days of the past with 7 days of bleeding. What a great side of effect of the procedure!
My husband and I have not tried to conceive, but are thinking of starting to try this spring or summer. I have been taking my temperature and using opt to make sure we do not get pregnant sooner than we want. Having another baby would be a blessing, but if for whatever reason we do not have another baby the relief I have received since the surgery during my monthly cycle has been worth having the procedure. As a matter of fact, if I had known of the relief I was going to receive during my cycle and didn't want to have any more children I would have had the procedure anyway and used another form of birth control. Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome was very real for me and if you feel this would help anyone please do post."
Thanks again. God Bless
Jim and Sheila McK.
