| Author | Topic: Introducing Myself | | Kathryn P. | Mrs.Brown, Welcome to you also.....I have one piece of advice for you. Enjoy the experience and go with your heart on your decision. It's great this type of technology is out here and we can actually have our tubes reversed. I travelled from LA to have my TR in North Carolina....why? Because Dr. Berger is seasoned in the procedure. We have plenty of docs here who can do this but I wanted someone who had done many and had a good track record. Good luck to you... | | Mrs.Brown | Oh, my mind has been made up for years now. I just wanted to make sure everything else in my life was in order before going through with the TR surgery. I want my new baby to be healthy and happy. I'm really hoping I can be one of Dr. Berger's success stories. That is why I'm here today. I'm ready to start the process as soon as I have the means to pay for it. Right now I'm trying to obtain as much information as possible about the procedure and everything that I should expect before, during and afterwards. It is a WONDERFUL thing that TL can be undone. | | babydreamsx2 | Hello I am new here also wanted to say Hi, I am Janet..Thanks | | Mrs.Brown | Hi Janet Reading this forum has given me hope that I didn't have before so hopefully you'll get the same feeling. I just sent my operative report and such to Dr. Berger this morning. I REALLY hope I get good news. On that not... how long did it take you ladies to hear back after you sent your stuff? | | Mrs.Brown | Bad news... the doctor who did my TL removed 5 cm of my tube and the entire fimbria. I will be going to have a HSG x-ray to see how much tube is left so I know what options I still have. Wish me luck. | | jenn5 | Good Luck hon and Welcome to the board! Jenni | | Laura RN | Mrs.Brown, Luckily,it is possible to become pregnant without fimbria. In the absence of fimbria, Dr. Berger can often perform a salpingostomy, which is a type of tubal repair that can allow the fallopian tube to function without the fimbria. Please let us know the results of your HSG so we may assist you further. Good luck! | | NitaE | Hello Everyone. I'm a 35 year old woman living in North Carolina. I too had 2 children before my TL on January 22 1990. Really looking forward to having another child with the man of my dreams and husband. He has 1 precious child that I love as my own but it would be great to share a child together. I just fax my records to Rhonda Brown RN and waiting to hear from anyone. I had two C-sections with both girls hoping for a boy. My girls are ages 18 and 16. Good luck to all the moms to be with TR. By the way want to be with child next year also..lol | | Matt, ST | Welcome to the Tubal Reversal Message Board. Where in Arkansas are you from? I was born in Hot Springs.
