Dr. Monteith’s Certifications
Dr. Monteith is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Upon completing his six month training fellowship with Dr. Berger, he joined the staff at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center as a certified tubal ligation reversal specialist. After five years and over 1500 tubal surgeries, Dr. Monteith was promoted to the Medical Director of the reversal center.
Dr. Monteith’s interest in becoming a tubal reversal surgeon began when he realized tubal ligation reversal was becoming less available to patients because of limited training opportunities for younger physicians.
