Date of Tubal Reversal: 11/23/2009
Date of Pregnancy Test: 07/30/2010
Ligation Type: Tubal rings (bands)
Remarks: I had my first positive pregnancy test yesterday. I have PCOS and was having difficulty getting pregnant after tubal reversal so my doctor put me on metformin and clomid. I have been taking these meds for 2 months and already they have worked. Positive line wasn’t real dark but it was definitely there. Hope everything goes well. Thank you Dr. Monteith!!!

Date of Tubal Reversal: September 2009
Date of Pregnancy Test: July 31, 2010
Ligation Type: Resection (tied or cut)
Due Date: April 14, 2011
Remarks: We have just about given up, so this month I was not really focused on conceiving. I only became excited when I saw spotting at day 10. Implantation Bleeding. I had this with my last pregnancy, 15 years ago. I tested the next day and it was positive within a minute. I have no other symptoms except bloating in my uterus…hard to describe… Because I have had implantation bleeding, I do not want to go through the tests for implantation. I will watch myself for signs of pain in the fallopian tubes and go to the ER if needed. I do not want to do a bunch of TESTING…

Date of Pregnancy Test:
Remarks: I filled out the pregnancy report form back in early June 2010 to report a positive HPT. Since then I have gone through a lot of things. My BHCG levels were not going up normally so I had to keep going back to confirm a viable pregnancy. As of July 6th they were able to confirm that the pregnancy was NOT viable but were unable to determine if it was a miscarriage or an ectopic pregnancy. They never saw a sac of any kind at either of the 2 vaginal ultrasounds. So we had to get a dose of methotrexate and as of July 19th my BHCG levels were finally negative. Now I have to wait for my next menstrual cycle so we can try again. It took a year of trying to get the first positive test so hopefully I will have much quicker results next time and a much more successful outcome. Thanks for all the prayers and support and most of all for making pregnancy possible again. God Bless you all at CHTRC. Patricia and Wes P.

Since surgery 1st cycle of Femara I did not get pregnant. 2nd cycle we missed the boat because husband got called out of town. 3rd cycle, last cycle doc willing to use Femara, I finally am pregnant. HCG numbers have been excellent. 1st test last Wed. 972, 2nd test Monday of this week 4711. Go again tomorrow, Thursday, and again on Tuesday Aug. 3rd. 1st vaginal ultrasound August 6th, next Friday, and final HCG test Aug. 11th. Keeping my fingers crossed on upcoming ultrasound August 6th.

Due Date: 04/07/2011
Remarks: My husband and I thought we would never be able to get pregnant before he was deployed over seas. We had been trying since the reversal, even trying ovulation predictor kits every month. I finally stopped stressing after sending an E-mail to Dr. Berger asking what was the next step to becoming pregnant. He had responded the same day I sent my E-mail. I was looking into following his advise, but it was really hard to find a date with everything that was going on in my home. This is the one month we did no ovulation predictor kit and that I didn’t think about it everyday or stress out. When I missed my period I took a test, I saw the two pink lines and woke my husband up right away. It had finally happened! My husband and I are going to have the baby that we have been praying for. We are blessed to have met Dr. Berger and his staff and now we’ll have our baby thanks to them.

Remarks: Hi, I am five weeks and like three days. I told the office where I go that I needed to do the blood work, and they said no I didn’t. They said I would be just fine, and that I will be going in for an ultrasound August 12th. My husband and I are concerned and wondering if we should push for the blood work? At seven weeks would I still be able to take the medication if I have a tubal pregnancy, that is my question. Thanks Thank you to the staff and Dr Monteith for an awesome outcome!! I am excited to be expecting my fourth baby!! This child like my other three will be such a huge blessing to my family, and because of your clinic I was able to turn a mistake into something beautiful!!

Remarks: I went to the doctor on Monday. My doctor recommended an hsg and we were doing the blood work to make sure I was not pregnant at the time I was spotting and didn’t suspect any thing but sure enough it came back positive. The bad part is I am miscarrying now the spotting turned to bleeding and the numbers confirmed that its ending. But I’m not sad now I know I can get pregnant. Once everything is back to normal my doctor  still wants to do the test to make sure both tubes are open. Thank you Dr. M for the hope.
