I had my tubal ligation at the age of 21 in the year of 1995. On October the 14th 2010, I had the Tubal Ligation Reversal.
Before my reversal surgery I was prescribed a very high dose of Motrin along with muscle relaxers and a medication that is prescribed to Multiple Sclerosis patients. These medications helped to a degree but the constant discomfort never left. I was receiving deep tissue massage therapy on a weekly to a monthly basis from my husband. The therapy did help relax me and release toxins but it never released all of the tension. My husband told me that he worked on one other person during his career who dad the severity of tension as I did. This person was a victim from 911. He said after working on her, she released most of her tension. He was stumbled as to why I wasn’t releasing my tension. He would work on me for three hours at a time.
I had developed arthritis in my spine and neck. Shortly after my reversal, my neck and back pain has lessened greatly. My husband noticed that my tension wasn’t as severe. I am medication free. No more severe pain and vomiting from the tension. I no longer feel that my arms are going to burst and that I am going to vomit forcefully.
My mood swings have greatly decreased. The rage that I experienced has ended. I am able to cry once again. I couldn’t cry if my life depended on it, before. The constant sadness has left, no more of the feeling of doom. I am full of energy where as before I was always tired.
My chills have lessened 98%. My teeth grinding and my jaw clenching has stopped. My memory and concentration have greatly improved.
My bloating and constipation has ended. My allergies are 98% better. I suffered from sinusitis every season. I went to an allergist. The doctor couldn’t understand why I was having the reactions that was experiencing, nor could I. I have stopped scratching. I no longer feel as though something is under my skin. My hair loss has improved and my unwanted hair growth has lessened by 90%.
I am developing more muscle mass without any effort. My breast seemed to be developing more. The cysts on my breast disappeared just days after the reversal, this totally shocked me. The severe lower back pain that I would experience in the beginning of menstrual cycle has stopped.
I am truly happy and greatly appreciate feeling free of illness. For the past twelve years I have been experiencing these symptoms. This has been hard on me as well as my family. What has been the hardest was not being able to figure out what was wrong with me. No one really understood what I was going through. In a sense, I was alone.
I have seen several doctors for my illnesses. None of the doctors had any answers. Some doctors had suggested depression and trauma. About three months before scheduling for the ligation reversal, I was tested for MS and Lupus. At this point I was scared. I thought that I was either going to be bed ridden or just pass on. My episodes were only getting worse. The tubal reversal was my only hope.
My issues were a constant struggle both mentally and physically. I needed help but not one doctor was able to help. I ruled out what doctors would suggest and with research and reading several blogs on the A Personal Choice web site, I believed I found my answer. I also came to realize that I was not alone. I am proud of what was finally accomplished with the help of Dr. Berger. The roller coaster ride has ended. I feel more as though I am the woman, who I didn’t feel I was for many years. My family has seen a great improvement as well. They are enjoying being around me. My husband is happy.
