Unfortunately due to a knot in the umbilical cord, our precious baby boy Henrik was delivered stillborn at 34 weeks’ gestation on 02/27/2014 at 4:27 p.m.
Although this is certainly the most devastating thing to have happened in our lives, I am still grateful to A Personal Choice for allowing me the opportunity to conceive and carry him. He was a perfect, beautiful angel.

As an Ob/gyn who has delivered many babies in my past, the third trimester loss of a baby soon to be born is one of the most devastating things we sometimes have to tell patients. Thankfully this does not happen often during pregnancy but it is a devastating event for any parent or family member.
Tubal reversal surgery can allow patients the chance to become pregnant naturally and does offer the hope for new life and a better tomorrow but a perfect outcome is not always guaranteed.
With Dena’s permission we share her message. The staff of the reversal center offer Dena and her family our deepest condolences.
