Today we are 31-1/2 weeks pregnant, thanks to Dr. Berger’s skill and all the wonderful staff at Chapel Hill Clinic. Even though this journey has been riddled with hurdles the whole way, Dr. Berger and his staff have all made themselves available to us for support and advice, including Dr. Berger himself, which has really meant a lot to us. From a scary ultrasound prognosis, to progesterone suppositories in early pregnancy, to gestational diabetes, and everything in between, we have felt heard by and supported by everyone at Chapel Hill. Starting next week we enter the last “phase,” if you will, of this pregnancy, with weekly ultrasounds and nonstress tests to monitor our daughter’s development until her birth, and every other week diabetic appointments to keep that closely monitored as well. Our scheduled C-section date is May 8, which we are looking forward to so much! Thank you, thank you, Dr. Berger and staff, for this to be happening for our family! :o)
