After trying to conceive for 9 months, I had a tubal patency test in February and found the tubes were clear. I then had a Day 3 FSH, LH, and estradiol test to see if I am still fertile, as I am 40.
I was told my estradiol level was a little elevated, and it was recommended that my husband and I have IVF and that hopefully I would have some good eggs left to use. My husband and I did not want to go that route, so we did some reading and found that caffeine can elevate the estradiol level. I cut it out completely, and 3 months later, I had a positive pregnancy test!
