I had my Essure procedure done on 09/2008 since I already had 3 boys and 1 girl I thought that I was done with kids. Soon after that I ended up getting a divorce and two years later I got remarried. The only problem I had was that my new husband didn’t have any children.
I started researching about Essure reversal and I found 4 doctor’s but from those 4 doctors’s the only 1 that really, really stood out was Dr. Monteith.

After months and months of deciding what to do my husband and I decided to go ahead and do the Essure reversal procedure. My first step was calling the office of Dr. Monteith. I spoke with the receptionist really I was not expecting her to know a lot but to my surprise she did she was able to answer my questions and concerns. Did I also mention she was super, super nice for weeks I was back and forth with their nurse which she was such a sweet heart and soon after that surgery was paid and my husband and I were off to our new adventure. Hotel stay was excellent so was the car service.
On the day of my consultation I was super scared (well it was more like petrified) but I was able to walk in the clinic. The clinic was very nice and super clean the receptionist already knew my name which that made me more relaxed. My husband and I stat with Dr. Monteith wow he was excellent and super, super nice he sat with us and explained everything to us from the surgery to his research to what he does. He also took his time to hear our concerns. My stress level when from 100 to 0 in an hour.
The day of the Essure reversal procedure I meet with the nurse she was very well informed about my health which that made me very happy. Next was the anesthesiologist very nice person his words where very worm and kind. And last was Dr Monteith he again told us what was going to happened I felt so confident I knew that he would do a great job. I walked to the OR I sat down and they read my history out loud after they were done I meet everyone that was going in the OR. As I lay now my fear started to come down on me and they told me that everything was going to be ok and to close my eyes. Once I opened my eyes I was done to my surprise I was not afraid and I was happy that everything was done. Dr Monteith came in and spoke to me and my husband soon after that I was off to the hotel.
The next day I meet with Dr Monteith and he explained what he did during my Essure reversal procedure and that everything when well.
Pregnant first month after Essure reversal procedure
I came home and my incision healed perfectly. My Essure reversal procedure was 05/12/2015 and on 06/20/2015 I had a positive pregnancy test! I had an ultrasound on 07/01/2015 and everything so far is excellent.
I can’t thank Dr. Monteith and his staff enough they have been such a blessing to me and my family they are such an excellent group of people. Even now when I have a concern I email Dr Monteith and if he can he answers my question he does.
