Ups and Downs After Reversal Surgery!
Dr. Monteith
I had the reversal early January of 2016 and experienced an ectopic pregnancy in April. It was sad, because I lost my tube in the OR, I had waited too long to check on my extraordinarily heavy period and the docs couldn’t get the bleeding in the fallopian tube to stop, so it had to be removed. The docs assured me that the ovary without the tube could still release and the egg would travel to the other tube.
In July I had a positive pregnancy test and a quick ultrasound confirmed its location in the uterus. Hooray!
