I was extremely nervous about another surgery, and almost changed my mind about a dozen times. When I arrived for my pre op I was still a bundle of nerves! After meeting with Dr. Monteith and the nurse it gave me reassurance, they explained in great detail of how things would go and also gave me insight on any complications that could happen. The next morning I met with everyone that would be in attendance of my surgery and they explained and were very uplifting and professional.
Everything went well and quicker then I thought. I slept most of the day but felt well being I just had surgery. After my post operative visit the next morning I was able to go home. I had pain from the incision site but nothing that stopped me from doing basic activities such as getting up and down without assistance and dressing and grooming myself.
After two days or so the medication for pain was no longer needed. I also received phone calls from the nurses to check on me since my surgery. I am very pleased with the care I received from the doctor and his staff. He has a great personality and is a very positive doctor. We have no baby plans just yet but it’s very nice to know I have the option again.
I am very grateful and pleased with A Personal Choice and would recommend them to anyone who had a tubal ligation and suffered medical issues afterwards, such as I did, and anyone who wants that chance for another baby! Thank you so much
