Pregnancies 1st Week December 2012

Name: Kelli J.
Location: Accomac, Virginia
Date of Tubal Reversal: 09/03/2009
Date of Pregnancy Test: 10/19/2012
Ligation Type: Bilateral tubal ligation
Due Date: 06/22/2013
Remarks: My husband and I stopped trying to conceive in January because I did not want to have children after the age of 40. We had resigned ourselves to the fact that it just wasn’t going to happen and were trying to look forward to some of the benefits of not having another child. When we realized I was pregnant, we were in shock. We had a miscarriage in June of 2010 and were devastated. So this time, we just waited day after day for me to have a miscarriage. When I was still pregnant at 7 weeks with no sign of a problem, we decided I should probably see a doctor. We just knew an ultrasound was going to reveal that the embryo was in my tubes and was going to have to be removed. We were extremely surprised to learn that the baby was exactly where it was supposed to be and that everything looked great. We are still trying to accept the fact that I am pregnant and that this time, things might actually work out in our favor.

Name: Tammy A.
Location: Fremont, Nebraska
Date of Tubal Reversal: December 6, 2011
Date of Pregnancy Test: October, 2012
Ligation Type: Tubal clips (clamps)
Due Date: May 16, 2013
Remarks: My first pregnancy ended up in a D and C because it was a blighted ovum. I used the ovulation predictor tests every month. I got to the point to where I quit using the ovulation test and left it in Gods hands. I did not worry about it and friends told me that I should not think about it and it would happen. Guess that works because I did not worry about it all the time (ok secretly I did) I prayed and left in Gods hands and it finally happened and all is going good in the pregnancy this time. I am 43 years old and have a 19 and 17 year never thought this would happen again. I am so blessed and so excited to have this to do all over again. Sometimes it feels like a new experience and all new. Love the fact that we get to expand our family.
