Date of Tubal Reversal: 07/05
Date of Pregnancy Test: 10/09/2010
Ligation Type: Coagulation (burned)
Remarks: Unfortunately our excitement was short lived as I had a miscarriage on 10/16 which surprised even my ob as my hcg at 31 days was very good at 2485. I am also hypothyroid though, and did not start medication to address that until I had already lost the baby. Hopefully it will help my next pregnancy carry to term. I can report however that from just a couple weeks I felt a lot of pressure on my cervix-almost in my cervix but it was too early to see anything on the ultrasound. Perhaps it was a placenta previa. I also had a pretty bad UTI during the first couple weeks of pregnancy from 2 different bacteria. The ovulation predictor I used was a Fertility Tracker Microscope to see the ferning in saliva on slides. Was pretty neat actually watching how my body changed through the month. I purchased it not necessarily trying to get pregnant but just to see if I was still fertile at 45 yrs old. … appears so!

Remarks: This is my 3rd pregnancy since my tubal.. I gave up hope that it would even happen thought maybe there was something wrong with me or my husband. It shows it happens when your least expecting it and just letting nature take its course. the moment I stopped trying so hard it happened. I just pray that 3 times is a charm… I have put it all in Gods hands.

Remarks: We are very thankful to Dr. Monteith for giving us this opportunity to try to complete our family. We have three great boys and never thought we would want to try again for a girl, but here we are. We want a healthy baby of coarse, but a girl would be a nice perk. It has not been easy for us, we have had two losses this year, but we are confident it’s going to work out this time. We have had two ultrasounds and the baby looks great. My blood work has also gone up great. We are very excited and my boys think its great too. Thank you to everyone !!!!
