Thank you Dr. Monteith and Tubal Reversal Staff!
Symptoms after tubal ligation
I’m currently two weeks and two days tomorrow post-op from having my tubal ligation reversal. I’m pleased with Dr. Monteith and his staff. They all were so very kind an helpful, every step of the way, and it’s reassuring to still have them here for me even if I’m miles away.
My reversal surgery was a success as I’m left with 10.5 cm on both sides with minimal scar tissue. I was feeling great the day of surgery and even the day after. My most noticeable symptoms after getting home was and is that my right side has a pulling /tugging feeling an sometimes a burning sensation. Mostly if I lie down on this side and I don’t have any symptoms on the left side at all, even while lying down on that side.
I’ve also noticed that I have more than a few hot flashes a day an sometimes a prolonged nauseous feeling. I quit taking all pain killers a week maybe, after surgery possibly less because I feel my symptoms are liveable to deal with.
I’m overally excited to be on a new journey to expand my family an my love an could never thank Dr. Monteith enough for another opportunity to be a mother again an look forward to sharing the news when we are gifted with our miracle.
Symptoms after tubal reversal
I had no pain the day of surgery, I did get a some nausea after eating dinner that night. I had some expected soreness for up to week and a few days and moderate nausea. Two weeks after I’m experiencing a tugging/pulling on right side only, when lying on that side sometimes with a burning sensation, off an on nausea and hot flashes. But I’m acceptable to pain an nausea without medication.
