Struggled To Have Tubal Reversal: It Was Worth The Effort
We have been married for 20 years come May of 2019. My husband and I had two children before I had my tubes tied in 2002 when I was just 21 years old (and very naive). We lost our (2 1/2 year old) daughter to an accident in 2004. I regretted ligation from day 1, even before we lost her….
We struggled to save up for surgery for years and prayed and dreamed of giving our son the gift of a sibling. I had a single tube repaired during surgery in February 2015. Gage was our first pregnancy since tubal reversal (even with what the OB calls old eggs… and one little tiny tube) he is a healthy, strong and a little wild 1 year old. Our older son often teased about how it took forever to get his little brother!
We recently lost our oldest son (18 years old) in October of 2018 to a freak cardiac arrhythmia. Our second pregnancy positive was on Gage’s first birthday and the pregnancy was confirmed this week to be where it should be and progressing well. We have been through hell as parents but feel God sent us our youngest blessings at just the right time.
Everyone has reasons and struggles daily, but God is good and A Personal Choice is an amazing group of miracle workers that have helped bless us in ways they could not even imagine.
