My whole experience with CHTRC was professional, from the first viewing of the website, to my first phone call to ask questions, to sending my TL reports, to the excitement of scheduling my surgery, to being picked up by Senate Transportation, to my first meeting Dr. Berger and staff, to the time I was being transported back to the airport feeling fabulous!
Living close to Boston, MA, one would have thought that I had easy access to the best doctors in the world for a tubal reversal! After researching online, my heart told me that Chapel Hill was where I belonged! I knew that I would get the best positive outcome and would be in the safest hands possible with Dr. Berger or Dr. Monteith. I could not have been more pleased with the reversal surgery or the surroundings. From the time I got off the plane, we were treated with professionalism and hospitality like no other! I felt that the staff was amazing and considerate beyond expectation. One can be nervous when having surgery, but everyone puts you at ease. The hotel accommodations are incredible and I felt like I was home mending on my own bed (minus me having to make the bed!). The day of surgery was very relaxing. The nurses, especially Kelly, took such good care of keeping me calm and relaxed! The surgery went great. Tim, the anesthesiologist, was amazing… I woke up feeling like I just took a little nap!
I went to my new OB a week later, to discuss a pregnancy plan. The doctor also performs tubal reversals… and he was shocked at how much I was moving around, how well I felt and how great my scar looked! He was also amazed at how inexpensive the surgery was!
Two weeks tomorrow and I feel like I haven’t even had surgery! I love my little scar, it’s a battle scar and brings a smile to my face knowing what it may help to produce! Being 43 years of age, I know it is in God’s hands. But I also know, that I went to the best place ever to open the Gateway for Him to make His miracles happen! Thank you Dr. Berger and everyone at A Personal Choice… you were wonderful! I hope to be sending you some positive reports soon!
So to all the older women in their 40’s who are thinking of doing this… I strongly recommend it! Let the Gateways be OPEN and have Faith!
