We Will Try Again
I had my 9 week ultrasound today, and they believe my pregnancy to be nonviable as I’m measuring 6 weeks when I should be 9, and there was no heartbeat detected. They want to see me for another ultrasound on 6/20 whether things progress on their own or if I need medical support through it.
Besides the obvious reason for this report, I felt that I should also mention that my pregnancy was/is (?) in fact in the uterus where it should be. So, I’m 3 for 3 of getting pregnant and not having any issues in my fallopian tubes. For that, we are so grateful and using that as a positive aspect to hold onto during this mournful watching and watching period we are in.
We will spend this time processing it all with grateful hearts and looking forward to the future knowing we can and will try again.
Thank you again, Dr. Monteith, for this blessing of being able to bring life into this world once more; even when it is short and we never get the chance to nurture it. 🥹
