The CHTRC experience was even better than I anticipated. I had read reviews of the clinic and knew to expect skilled surgeons and staff. What I did not expect is the level of attention and caring that I experienced.
I loved having my “own” Nurse assigned to me during my visit – it was a comfort to know that Bonnie was with me the whole way. All of the staff were amazingly attentive and welcoming; even my responsible adult (my mom) was treated with respect and caring. Having all of the details of the reversal surgery taken care of, right down to transportation, was a huge relief. All I had to do was show up and get myself home! Post-operative recovery has been a breeze: since I only experienced minor pain, I did not need any pain meds except the day of my tubal reversal. Once home, all I have encountered is minor discomfort when moving and some pain when I laugh or cough. 🙂 I am already back to doing most of my normal routine, other than working out or lifting heavy items.
