Tubal ligation problems
I had my tubal ligation surgery in December 2003 and right away I started having tubal ligation problems.
I couldnt produce enough breast milk to breast feed my newborn baby and I had to bottle feed her. I lost some breast mass. I had memory loss, I could not focus for very long on things, my face became red (me doctors kept telling me it was Rosacea), I had mood swings like no ones business (aggression, depression, anxious, irritable). I had VERY PAINFUL cramps everyday, I had days during my period that I couldnt even move because of the pain. I had developed allergies that I never had before. My asthma became uncontrollable. I was just not happy.
I waited 11 years to do this surgery because I was very afraid it would not fix what was broken. I was very skeptical about it all, as was my husband. Finally, we decided to take the plunge and get it done, because at least then we would know. So we did it, we saved the money and had the surgery. Having tubal reversal surgery was the BEST decision of my life!
Can tubal reversal help ligation symptoms?
First day after my surgery, my red face wasnt red anymore, my asthma hasnt bothered me (we are now 5wks out post surgery, still no asthma problems), I am more calm than I can ever remember (no more irritability, anger or depression) I am happy. I have had no problems from allergies. I do not have anymore cramps (except menstrual cramps, but those arent as painful as they used to be). My memory recall is much better now.
I can not thank Dr. Monteith enough for what he has done for me and my family. I feel so much better now than I have in YEARS! Life is better. He and his staff are wonderful, very friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. They make you feel very comfortable while youre there.
Im now 5wks out from my surgery and Ive had no problems with my incision at all. Im healing quite well. I highly recommend getting the surgery if youre having any symptoms of PTLS. Im just sad I waited so long to finally get my life back.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Dr.Monteith and staff, you are all wonderful!!
